# SubRouter

> SubRouter is an AI API gateway, model router, and provider marketplace. It provides unified access to GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, and other models through compatible APIs, with provider selection, routing, pricing comparison, and usage records.

The main website is https://subrouter.ai. The marketplace includes both provider routes and official model channels. These can have different prices, availability, supported protocols, and model capabilities.

Model identifiers, prices, context limits, and availability change over time. Consult the current model and provider pages before choosing a route. Do not assume that every route supports the same parameters, streaming, reasoning, tools, or image and video operations.

API requests require a SubRouter API key. Follow the documentation for the base URL, endpoint, authentication, and model name. Chat Completions, Responses, and image or video task APIs have different request formats; choose the protocol supported by the selected route.
